1. Tuesday 40 Days for Life kick off party in the Knights hall 7 pm
2. Wednesday Rosary and Communion Service 6pm in the chapel
3. Wednesday Soccer Challenge – Mark Davis needs our help with the youth of Holy Spirit.  Be at the football field at 8 am if you can help with this.
4. Wednesday starts the 40 Days for Life prayer vigil in front of the abortion clinic.   Contact Steve 310- 1364 or Ryan 210-9210 to schedule a time or come to the kick off party.
5. Thursday is Silver rose day at Holy Spirit Church. It will be in the chapel at 1pm for the students of Holy Spirit School and at mass or communion service at 7pm. We need Honor Gaurd to be with the rose at all times; contact Frank Baier. Everyone should take advantage of the Silver Rose experience.
6. Sunday at 2pm there will be a Second Degree Ceremony at the Knights Hall.  All First Degree members should take this opportunity; call Ryan 210-9210 or myself 247-5555.
7. Sunday at 3 pm there will be a Ballet DeFolklorico (Mexican Ballet) at the school gym.  Admission is $5.00

1. Just a big thanks to all who participated.  With out all of you we would not be able to do what we do for our charities.  Thanks again.

1. Butt Cook was a huge success, thanks to all that participated.  If you still have money, I will be at church Weds. at 7 pm or you can drop it at the store between 9-6 so that I can get the final tallies.
2. The Social and the 5th Sunday Breakfast was a great time.   Thanks to all that helped with them, we appreciate it very much.
3. CONCESSIONS The first game is Saturday, If you want to sign up call 247-5555 or 758-0271 and leave a message or e-mail us back. You did not have to attend the training in order to work a follow up e-mail will be sent with the times, We will more than likely meet at 1:30 -2;00 at the Knights Hall.

6. Sunday August 22 the parish awareness weekend in the gathering hall after all the masses need guys to man the knights table.

1. Concession training went well. 18 people showed up. We still need 32 to reach our goal. There are still three sessions left that we can go to. to achieve the goal and reward 5 lucky goers $25.00.. Please help, By the way if you go to the training session that doesn’t mean you are obligated to work concessions.
2. Saturday Nite–Latino Food Festival starts after 5:30 mass. Admission is $1.00 and there will be entertainment and plenty of food. Please support your fellow knights.
3. Remember The business meeting is 7 o’clock Thursday August 12th. To support our own food drive a can good or non perishable items needs to be brought to the meeting. Thanks

1. Would you like a chance at $25 CASH for just a little bit of your time? Centerplate, the concession vendor at the University, wants to have full attendance at their concession training sessions this fall. They want to reward us with $250 if we attend with at least 50 volunteers. We want to pass along part of this reward to some of you. If we qualify for the $250, we’ll distribute $25 to 5 people that attended by random drawing. Our group is scheduled to attend this Saturday, Aug 7 at 10am. If you cannot make that one, you can also attend next Saturday, Aug 14 at 10am or 4pm. If 50 our of people go to their training, we’ll do the drawing at the concession party on Saturday, Aug 21st. You don’t have to attend the party to win, but you do have to attend one of the training sessions. Bring your spouse, bring your children if they’re 16 years of age or older. Even if you don’t normally work a concession, consider going to ensure 5 people are able to take home $25. The training will be in the recruiting room at the stadium. Enter at gate 1 in the north end zone. Reply back with the day and time you plan to attend.
